Monday October 26, 2015 6:15- White Church Bethel
The Bethel Area Rotary invites you and your guest to join is at our annual International Dinner,
celebrating our youth exchange program, that will be held on Monday October 26, 2015. The cost is
$25 with a reduced rate of $12.50 for past present and future exchange students.
The meal will be prepared by our legendary cook Maybelle Dumont, who has been preparing this
sampling of worldwide cuisine for 39 years. She and her family create a bountiful array of
internationally inspired entrees and a dozen deserts for this perennially popular event.
This year our adventurous and intrepid chef is recovering from injuries sustained skydiving over
the summer. Bethel Area Rotary charter members Marshall Dimock and Gordon Campbell created this
event to celebrate United Nations Day.
The spirit of the International Dinner continues to celebrate the work of the United Nations in
promoting world peace and understanding. Rotary is a partner in this effort with Peace
Scholarships, the International Youth Exchange program and many International support projects.
This year Exchange Students will be working together with our renowned chef Maybelle Dumont to
create classic Apple Pies for the International Dinner.
Please join us in celebrating our international connections through food and fellowship. Rebecca
